Within the Data Office we build impactful AI solutions to digitise important processes, such as Claims. Your main goal is to create data‑science solutions for operational teams like Acceptance and Claims, working closely with colleagues to translate business wishes into AI solutions and supporting them throughout the adoption process.

You will design and implement the best data‑science solutions for business problems using NN’s AI toolkit, construct production‑ready AI models, create APIs, and integrate them through Azure CI/CD pipelines. You work agile on multi‑sprint projects, research and apply state‑of‑the‑art technologies such as AI‑as‑a‑service, LLMs, Cognitive Services and OpenAI, and actively contribute to NN’s innovation culture through monthly innovation days.

• Salary between €4,414 and €7,438 depending on knowledge and experience

We work hybrid ether with your team you decide where, how and when you work. The official location of this job is The Hague.

• Completed university education with a master’s degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or another STEM‑related field
• Experience in developing ML applications in Python, with practical knowledge of the data‑science process (data collection, cleaning, model evaluation, implementation)
• Experience developing APIs and working with Azure CI/CD, Git, SQL and Terraform (a plus)
• Experience designing AI solutions based on business requirements (a plus)
• Experience with Generative AI such as LLMs (a plus)
• Good command of the Dutch language

You will collaborate daily with a group of data scientists, two engineers who help deploy work into production, a program manager and many business colleagues. You are also a member of the data‑science guild, where approximately 40 data scientists meet and exchange knowledge.
