Cohere is seeking a part-time independent contractor dedicated to the evaluation of coding tasks within AI model development. You will focus on debugging code, assessing agents, and ensuring the accuracy of responses. This position requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week at a rate of 40 CAD per hour, and all work is conducted remotely within Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate model responses to coding requests and workflows

• Assess model capabilities for debugging and code generation

• Prompt models for complex coding tasks and review accuracy

• Label and improve machine- and human-written outputs

• Report trends on quality and performance related to agents

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, and SQL

• Experience building and deploying APIs

• Familiarity with agents like Open Code or Codex
