Data Analyst, Data Scientist
Job Overview
We are looking for an Analyst, Advanced Analytics to plan, design, develop, and deploy reporting and analytics across the organization. The role supports sales and marketing activities, customer‑level analytical projects, and broader business insights. The analyst will work closely with IT and business partners to enhance analytics capabilities, build statistical and AI models, and improve reporting processes.
Responsibilities- Analyze marketing, events, and sales campaign data (including A/B tests and pre‑ vs. post‑campaign comparisons).
- Support sales and marketing targeted campaigns.
- Participate in customer‑level analytical and research projects.
- Prototype advanced statistical/AI models.
- Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests and provide data extraction and information gathering.
- Conduct R&D on new analytical tools and techniques.
- Augment periodic management reporting.
- Work with technical teams to resolve data, environment, or implementation issues.
- University degree in Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 2‑3 years of relevant experience with statistical modeling and data analysis techniques (e.g., linear/logistic regression, decision trees, affinity analysis, clustering/segmentation, time series forecasting).
- Strong data communication skills, able to present results to management.
- Hands‑on experience writing code and using analytical tools such as Knime.
- Proficiency with visualization software (Tableau, Power BI), Python, and SQL.
- Advanced consumer intelligence/marketing techniques experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of financial services, especially the investment industry.
- Experience with data pipeline design and GIS software.
- Experience developing and maintaining Python models.
- Certifications in MS Office, SAS, KNIME, Snowflake, Tableau.
- Ability to communicate quantitative data into visually engaging stories.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high‑performance culture.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, adaptable to rapidly changing environments.
- Independent worker and team player with a positive, self‑starter attitude.
- Interest in capital markets, banking, and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
Base Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually, plus discretionary performance bonus.
RRSP Contribution: after 6 months of employment, the company will contribute to your RRSP.

Parental Leave: top‑up to 100% of your salary for 25 weeks.
Home Office Allowance: up to $650.
