Role Description

The Co-founder and CTO role at Invexa is a full-time, remote position responsible for leading the end-to-end technology vision, architecture, and execution of our AI-driven behavioral finance platform. On a day-to-day basis, the CTO will define the product and technology roadmap, design scalable system architecture, and oversee the development, testing, and deployment of core platform features, including real-time bias detection and explainable AI components.

This role will involve building and mentoring a high-performing engineering and data science team, establishing best practices for security, reliability, and performance, and collaborating closely with co-founders on product strategy, fundraising, and go-to-market initiatives. The CTO will also evaluate and integrate third-party tools and data sources, ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy standards, and engage with key customers, partners, and advisers to align the technology with market needs and long-term business goals.
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills, including experience with data-driven decision-making, AI/ML systems, or quantitative product development.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with co-founders, engineers, advisers, and investors, and for translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
Ability to support sales and customer conversations by explaining technical capabilities, understanding client requirements, and shaping solutions that meet market needs.
Experience partnering with marketing teams to build product narratives, support growth experiments, and align technology features with brand positioning.
Proven research skills to explore new technologies, assess technical feasibility, and stay current with advances in AI, fintech, and behavioral finance.
Demonstrated track record in leading engineering teams, owning product architecture, and shipping production-grade platforms (preferably in fintech or SaaS).
Hands-on expertise in modern backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and security best practices; familiarity with AI/ML frameworks is highly beneficial.
Experience in or strong interest in financial services, wealth management, or behavioral science; prior startup or founding experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
