In this vital role within ICES' Data Quality and Information Management department, you will engage directly with researchers to create standardized datasets essential for health research. Your responsibilities will encompass quality assessments of data, resolving anomalies, and developing innovative measures for data integrity. This opportunity positions you at the forefront of healthcare data utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate standardized SAS datasets for research purposes
• Develop SAS macros to enhance operational efficiency
• Keep comprehensive documentation of data practices
• Offer expertise on data quality to research teams
• Participate in assessments for data improvements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline related to health
• Proficiency in SAS and other data management tools
• Skills in macro writing and SQL preferred
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Familiarity with natural language processing is a plus
