Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure and deploy enterprise‑grade solutions using Power Apps (canvas & model‑driven), Power Automate (cloud & desktop flows), Power Pages, Dataverse, Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
- Build and maintain integrations between Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure services and other enterprise systems.
- Design, implement and evaluate predictive models and AI solutions for internal business needs, including data splitting, model selection, performance evaluation (e.g., confusion matrix, AUC) and mitigation of common issues such as overfitting or data leakage.
- Apply modern engineering disciplines including source control (Azure Dev Ops / Git), Power Platform CLI / ALM / pipelines, automated testing, solution packaging, deployment strategies, and basic MLOps practices for model lifecycle management.
- Partner closely with the Platform Owner to ensure all development adheres to established guardrails, architecture standards and the Platform roadmap.
- Stay current with the Microsoft Power Platform roadmap, Copilot advancements, Azure AI services and emerging AI trends.
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio / AI Builder).
- Solid practical experience with AI and data engineering:
Python and/or SQL for data manipulation (pandas), descriptive statistics, data visualisation (Power BI, matplotlib/seaborn), basic predictive modelling, and data pipeline concepts (ETL, data quality). - Experience delivering solutions in a Dynamics 365 environment and integrating with Microsoft 365 / Azure services (including Microsoft Fabric).
- Understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, ALM, version control, automated testing) applied to the Power Platform.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security model, DLP policies, environment management and CoE toolkit.
- Experience working in agile / product‑led delivery models (Scrum / Kanban).
- Hybrid working – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
- Working flexible hours – flexing the times you start and finish during the day.
- Flexibility around school pick up and drop offs.
