Portsmouth (Hybrid - 2 days every other week on site, plus remote working)

Job Description:

Dev Sec Ops  (continuous integration, automation, security scanning);
Scripting:
Bash/Linux/Python;
Automation and containerisation;
Solution based mindset;
Dev Ops culture;
Python;
Apache Kafka;
Kubernetes;
Docker; CICD;
Secure development in air gapped environments; AI/ML model integration experience.

• Primary focus:
  This role combines hands-on engineering (CI/CD, Kubernetes, automation) with architectural/lead elements. 60/40 split leaning towards leading the thought and supporting the team, with hands-on delivery as needed.
• Migration / platform maturity:
  Modernising existing platforms and maintaining current environments. There are two environments at different maturity stages.

• Cloud environment:
  Hybrid
• Dev Sec Ops  expectations:
  Compliance requirements, air-gapped constraints, ITAR and special access compartment considerations.

• AI/ML integration:
  Core

• For SC clearance:
  Must be MOD sponsored SC, sole UK national
• Active SC is sufficient; no requirement that it was used in the last 12 months

This role requires additional vetting, which means this could take longer than our normal onboarding process. You will require additional vetting for this position, which means the process can take longer than the usual onboarding process with Capgemini.
