Requirements

Active SC clearance or eligibility for clearance
Experience with stakeholder engagement to update departmental security standards
Familiarity with Oracle on AWS, Java middleware, and Pro
* C/PL/SQL batch applications
Experience with client‑side field level encryption in large‑scale Oracle custom applications is ideal
Ability to produce a Requirements and Impact Analysis report, documenting technical options and security architecture frameworks

Responsibilities

Lead the security requirements analysis phase for the Move to Cloud program of a major government department's database platform
Drive the development of enhanced cloud security standards
Provide leadership and direction to technical engineering and development teams
Formulate technical approaches and solutions addressing potential security requirements

Location & Compensation

This role is for a Security Architect with a contract length of 6 months, based in Manchester or Newcastle, with remote work options. The compensation is £700 per day inside IR35, umbrella only.
