OpenShift & Kubernetes Specialist

Position: OpenShift & Kubernetes Specialist Hybrid Role
Shape the future of naval technology with Weir Canada Inc. as an Open Shift and Kubernetes Specialist. This permanent, hybrid position is based in LaSalle, QC, and is focused on innovative cluster designs.

In your role, you'll be responsible for understanding and translating client requirements into effective Open Shift solutions for the Royal Canadian Navy. Your experience will guide the design and testing of systems that prioritize high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to ascertain functional needs

• Produce detailed design documentation and diagrams

• Implement configurations and test strategies for Open Shift

• Engage in reviews and coordination meetings

• Champion a culture of safety and zero harm

Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT experience

• 8+ years in Linux/Unix, with 3+ in Kubernetes

• Proficiency in storage technologies and Open Shift Virtualization

• Familiarity with AWS/Azure services

• Canadian citizenship required for security clearance
