We are supporting a growing technology team that is looking to hire a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help design, improve, and scale modern cloud and on-premise platforms.
This role would suit someone with a strong Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability background who enjoys working across Kubernetes environments, cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and large-scale application platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Improve and evolve CI/CD and software delivery processes
Enhance platform observability, monitoring, and reliability
Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
Support high-availability and high-traffic applications
Contribute to infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
Help drive Dev Ops best practices across engineering teams
Mentor junior colleagues and share technical knowledge
Evaluate and introduce new technologies where appropriate
Requirements
Previous experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Strong experience with Kubernetes, including Red Hat Open Shift

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Good knowledge of Linux environments

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling
Experience managing virtualised environments (VMware and/or KVM)
Experience supporting high-scale, high-traffic xpavfwm applications

Experience with Apache Kafka or other message broker technologies
Scripting or programming experience
