ICT Data and Systems Officer; Workforce Management System

The Role

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that is going to revolutionise our operational availability? Our friendly and inclusive ICT team are searching for a new Data and Systems Officer to support our new Workforce Management System, due to launch later this year.

• Maintaining data toahigh quality standard,ensuringaccurateconfigurationis managedin a timely mannerenablingaccurateaccess for Service users.
• Conducting audits of the systemso that the data meets with existing policy,procedure sand workflow requirements.
• Provide professional advice, systemexpertiseand reports for information requested by business areasandcollaborative partners.
• Enable self-servicereportingto support, evaluate and measure performance across fire standards, legislation,HMICFRSand Home Office.
• Work with the ICT Business Partner tosupport;production of technical documentation,project workstream delivery and strengthen adoption of the systemby creating champions within each business area.
• Build a strong relationship with the software providertosupport the ICT Technical Services team with testing and managing technical issues through to resolution.
• RepresentECFRS with ICT Local Partners and nationwide Fire and Rescue Services to collaborate on best practice, sharing guidance,experience and knowledge.
• RepresentECFRS at national level user groups and related meetings to gain and share best practice.
• Facilitate training and supporting resources for on-boarding new team members.
• Work alongside and collaborate with other System and Data Officers to provide cross-system experience.

We are looking forsomeonewho is an excellent communicator with a passion for systems administration, managing data,and building strong working relationships.

Experience in application management and configuration,managing different stakeholders is beneficial.
