Digital Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an organised Digital Project Manager with ecommerce, digital agency, client communication, project delivery, QA and web development coordination experience is required to join a long-established Digital Agency with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ecommerce websites and platforms for a wide range of clients.

SALARY: up to £45,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join a long-established digital agency.

As the Digital Project Manager you will manage ecommerce website and platform projects, working with clients, developers and the wider team to keep delivery on track.

This Digital Project Manager role will suit someone organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple projects, requirements gathering, project schedules, QA, UAT and client relationships across Woo Commerce, Magento and Payload CMS.

DUTIES
  • Project Management: Manage the day-to-day delivery of ecommerce projects across Woo Commerce, Magento and Payload CMS
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed on progress, priorities and delivery dates
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable tasks for developers
  • Project Scheduling: Build and maintain project schedules, timelines and task plans to support smooth delivery
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee QA processes before delivery and go-live to help maintain high project standards
  • Support Requests: Manage support requests and minor improvement jobs for existing clients
  • Developer Coordination: Coordinate workloads and task queues for developers to ensure efficient and timely delivery
  • Delivery Standards: Work closely with the wider team to keep projects on track and client expectations well managed
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL
  • Project Management

    Experience:

    Previous experience in a project management role, ideally within a digital agency
  • Ecommerce Knowledge: Good working knowledge of ecommerce platforms, particularly Woo Commerce and/or Payload CMS
  • Client Relationship

    Skills:

    Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally
  • Organisation

    Skills:

    Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Technical Briefing: Experience working with development teams and translating client needs into clear technical briefs
  • Schedule Management: Confident managing project schedules, deadlines and delivery expectations
  • Commercial Awareness: Organised, practical and able to balance client needs with delivery priorities
DESIRABLE
  • Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with analytics tools and ecommerce performance metrics
  • QA And UAT: Experience overseeing QA and user acceptance testing processes
  • Support Relationships: Previous exposure to support and retainer-based client relationships
