Position: Senior Data Engineer - Hybrid Role
Advance your data engineering skills with BC Financial Services Authority in Vancouver, British Columbia. This 12-month contract position focuses on building scalable data solutions in a hybrid work model.

As a Senior Data Engineer at BCFSA, you will design, build, and operate high-quality data pipelines for various analytical and operational use cases. You will collaborate with business and data analysts while ensuring data governance and security. Your expertise in Azure cloud services, SQL, and data processing frameworks will be crucial in delivering effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement production-ready data pipelines for analytics

• Operationalize data delivery, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Support ETL/ELT processes for reliability and performance

• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data orchestration

• Provide coaching on data engineering topics

Requirements:

• Experience with Azure cloud services and SQL

• Strong background in Python and Spark

• Proven expertise in data management and transformation

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field
