Position: Vulnerability Management Specialist - Hybrid Role
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Enhance enterprise security with a focus on vulnerability remediation as a Vulnerability Management Specialist. This hybrid position collaborates with various teams to ensure timely risk management and patching.

As a crucial member of the technology team, you will take ownership of vulnerability identification, prioritization, and remediation across infrastructure and application environments. Your responsibilities will include aligning patch management with security policies, participating in governance discussions, and proactively managing security risks. Building relationships within teams will be essential to ensure accountability and effective resolution of vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee patching and remediation activities across departments

• Monitor threats from AI vulnerability discovery tools

• Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations for patch management

• Engage in risk review forums and prioritize remediation actions

• Identify coverage gaps and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant server infrastructure experience

• Skills in Cloud technologies and virtualized systems

• Proficiency in ITSM tools like Service Now

• Solid understanding of Windows patching processes

• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VMware)

Contribute to securing enterprise platforms through strong vulnerability management practices and proactive risk assessment.
