Position: Technical Specialist for Satellite Systems

Telesat is looking for a Technical Specialist for Satellite Systems, where your expertise will influence the deployment and operational readiness of our Landing Station systems. This position enables both office and remote work to meet operational needs.

As part of Telesat’s dedicated team, you will ensure the successful integration and optimization of satellite ground infrastructure. Your collaboration with engineering and vendor teams will ensure systems are reliable and effective. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead integration of Landing Station IT and communication systems

• Provide technical support during system rollout

• Create and maintain key technical documents

• Develop solutions for enhancing system performance

• Coordinate with vendors for compliance assessments

Requirements:

• Over a decade in satellite systems or network engineering

• Degree in a related technical area

• Strong fault isolation and troubleshooting capabilities

• Knowledge of critical infrastructure designs

• Willingness to travel and work in hybrid conditions
