Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Security Specialist is responsible for identifying security risks, implementing protective controls, monitoring systems for threats, and supporting incident response activities. The role works closely with engineering, Dev Ops, compliance, and cloud teams to ensure security is embedded across all layers of the technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems and infrastructure for security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Implement and maintain security controls across applications and cloud environments.
- Support incident detection, response, and post-incident analysis.
- Assist in threat analysis, risk assessments, and security audits.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure secure application development practices.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) configurations and reviews.
- Assist in security compliance activities and regulatory alignment.
- Maintain security logs, reports, and documentation.
- Support penetration testing coordination and remediation tracking.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and threat analysis.
- Experience working in cloud or enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with incident response and vulnerability management processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Technical Skills
- Security monitoring and incident response
- Vulnerability management tools and processes
- Cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Secure network and application security principles
- SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or similar)
- Basic scripting (Python or Bash preferred)
Required Qualifications 5–8+ years Salesforce experience 3+ years implementing Sales Cloud solutions Salesforce Sales Cloud Certification preferred
Experience with CRM transformation projects Strong stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication
