Senior Front End Designer Remote Alberta

Enhance Alberta's digital services as a Senior Front End Designer with the Government of Alberta. This primarily remote role involves creating innovative design solutions and collaborating with teams.

This contract position within the Digital Design and Delivery Division focuses on user-centered design. You will play a key role in digital transformation projects, ensuring that service delivery is both effective and efficient. Your expertise will drive improvements through responsive designs and interactive prototypes while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user-centered front-end solutions aligned with service needs

• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes for projects

• Actively participate in Agile processes and project collaboration

• Conduct usability tests and report findings effectively

• Review design accessibility according to relevant standards

Requirements:

• 2 years of Front End Designer experience

• Strong expertise in UX design artifacts and prototypes

• Proven participation in Agile product teams

• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards

• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD
