OverviewAnalystssupportwiththe delivery ofhigh-end consultancy services into enterprise organisations,especially in the key areas of software licensing,compliance and optimisation reporting,Hardware Asset Management(HAM) and Cloud migration.
The Licensing Analyst worksas part of our managed service and consultancy delivery teams, engaging directly withclientsto support their Software Asset Management function.
The role requires an eye for detail and an analytical mindset. Analysts deliver Effective Licence Positions (ELP’s) to clients and support with answering client queries. They regularly undertake data analysis and management tasks working with technical, financial and commercial client data from various sources.
ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of the Licensing Analyst include:
Delivery- Analysing large and / or complex data and datasets.
- Receiving, storing,organising and processing software licence purchasedatato deliver entitlement positions.
- ProducingaccurateELPsfrom a variety of data sources for various software publishers.
- Creating reporting and providing updates to clients on compliance positions,risksand opportunities.
- Other data management tasks, including data recognition and normalisation.
- Assisting clients with software renewals, ad-hoc licensing queries and other areas ofITAsset Management.
- Maintaining service documentation such as risk logs, opportunities trackers and service RAID logs.
- Working with a variety of in-house and third-party tools.
- Contributing to the development and on-going improvement of data related processes.
- Supporting Consultants with the delivery of more complex pieces of consultancy such a Target Operating Model (TOM) creation and implementation.
- Operating as part of the Synyegateam, contributing to client engagement planning and delivery.
- Acting as a trusted partnerto clients, buildingtrustand strengthening relationships with low and mid-tier stakeholders.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
- Data handling and analysis experience gained from an IT Asset Management environment.
- Experience of specific IT Asset Management discovery tools (e.g. Flexera, Snow, USU, Service Now, RV Tools, SCCM).
- Musthave the right to work in the UK, be a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years and be able to attainUK Government SC Clearance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Softwarepublisherspecific data analysis (e.g. Microsoft,Adobe, VMware etc.).
- Cloud computing data handling and analysis.
- Experience delivering software licence compliance positions in a medium to large organisation.
- Experience with in central government or regulated sectors.
- Experience using
Jira / Confluence and Click Up .
Degree (BSc/BA or equivalent) or relevant IT experience.
You may have gained relevant experience from a variety of backgrounds and for the right person we will provide training and support to help you become successful in this role.
LanguagesEnglish: excellent verbal and written skills are essential.
EU languages desirable (but not essential) such as:
German, Italian, French, Spanish.
