Job DescriptionYour Team and Mission
In the Data, Analytics & Technology division, we combine expertise in data analysis, modelling, software development, and real estate market research.
At the Zurich location, you will become part of the 9-member Data Team Switzerland and work in an open and cooperative atmosphere with our experienced experts in Data Science and Data Engineering. Our mission is to develop high-quality data sets, analyses based on them, and data‑driven models to take Wüest Partner's products to the next level.
Your Tasks
- Building and developing spatial and building‑specific data inventories and models related to the real estate market, both for the Swiss location and in an international context
- Designing and continuously optimizing data pipelines in our international data warehouse
- Performing quantitative and qualitative data analyses with spatial reference
- Cross‑country and cross‑team collaboration to coordinate and find solutions for data‑ and model‑related issues
- Close cooperation with our Real Estate Experts division to ensure high data standards in the valuation context
- Acting as an expert and central contact person for data‑related questions
- Monitoring and documenting processes to ensure data quality
Your Profile
- University degree with an analytical or technical focus, natural or engineering sciences
- Very good programming skills in Python and R for the focus areas of statistics, data science, and data processing
- Proven experience with Databricks / Spark (PySpark, sparklyr, SparkR) – certification desirable
- Solid database and DWH knowledge (including SQL)
- Experience with Bitbucket, Gitea, and version control tools, e.g. Git
- Interest in real‑estate‑related topics, data analytics, machine learning, and AI
- Initiative, independent and well‑structured working style with strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Team‑oriented personality with high social and communication competence
- Fluent German and English skills
