As a Dev Ops AI Platform Architect, you will design, build, and optimise scalable AI platforms that enable organisations to develop, deploy, and manage AI/ML solutions efficiently and securely. The role aligns with a passion for cloud computing, Dev Ops practices, automation, and artificial intelligence, allowing you to create robust platforms that accelerate innovation and business value.
Hybrid WorkingThe places you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Responsibilities- Designing and implementing AI platform architectures using cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Establishing CI/CD and MLOps pipelines to automate model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Managing containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes for scalability and reliability.
- Ensuring platform security, compliance, governance, and cost optimisation through best practices and automation.
- Collaborating with data scientists, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑grade AI solutions.
- Implementing observability, monitoring, and incident management processes to maintain platform performance and availability.
- Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies in Generative AI, platform engineering, and cloud‑native ecosystems to drive innovation.
- Define and document global AI platform patterns and end‑to‑end ML lifecycle reference architectures.
- Design Model Serving Architecture and support PoC for scalable and secure model deployment.
- Define MLOps Architecture and document best‑practice designs for model serving PoC.
- Enable LLM strategic capabilities and assess Azure AI Foundry, Bedrock, and Databricks for design decisions.
- Work with security, data protection, and other architecture teams to align and secure approvals for rollout.
- Document low‑level designs for LLM rollout across use cases.
- Evolve platform capabilities such as Responsible AI, GenAI, and Data Governance aligned with approved L2 architecture.
