Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Content Writer (Client Delivery & Documentation)

Join MRI Software as a Content Writer and help transform how we produce, manage and deliver documentation and training materials across our Professional Services teams. You’ll work closely with Consultants, Project Managers and subject matter experts to turn complex information into clear, engaging and professionally structured content that supports successful software delivery and improves client outcomes. Using AI, automation and modern digital tools, you’ll create content that is faster to produce, easier to maintain and more effective for both delivery teams and clients.

The role is based in our Cape Town office and operates a hybrid model with three days of remote work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review existing materials to identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify where AI and automation can accelerate content creation and enhance quality.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create, update and transform client materials.
  • Design and deliver modern, user‑focused content experiences – moving beyond static documents to more dynamic, accessible and maintainable formats such as structured knowledge bases, guided workflows, interactive content and embedded help.
  • Select and apply the most effective format for each use case, balancing usability, maintainability and scalability rather than defaulting to traditional document‑based outputs.
  • Challenge and evolve existing documentation approaches, reducing reliance on static formats and improving how delivery knowledge is created, maintained and consumed.
  • Apply strong grammar, formatting and styling standards to ensure all content is clear, consistent and professional.
  • Ensure materials are well‑structured, easy to navigate and tailored to the needs of delivery teams and clients.
  • Implement and maintain version control and content management best practices (e.g. SharePoint). Ensure documentation is accurate, structured and kept up to date.
  • Promote the use of standardised and reusable content across implementation teams.
  • Gather feedback and continuously refine materials based on real usage and project needs.
  • Contribute to the development of training, onboarding and implementation materials.
  • Support evolving delivery approaches through effective content design.
Requirements
  • Experience creating and maintaining content or documentation within software, consulting or implementation environments.
  • Strong command of grammar, document structure and professional formatting standards.
  • Experience managing structured documentation repositories and version control (e.g. SharePoint).
  • Strong capability in modern content creation approaches, with the ability to design content that is clear, reusable and easy to navigate.
  • Experience working across a range of tools and platforms (e.g. knowledge bases, collaboration tools, video platforms), selecting the right approach for the audience and outcome.
  • Practical experience using AI‑assisted tools (e.g. Copilot, Scribe) to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Comfortable producing high‑quality outputs in core tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) where required, with a focus on improving their structure and consumption.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, user‑friendly content.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the property sector is desirable, or experience within software/technology environments.
  • Positive, proactive mindset focused on improving work processes, not just delivering outputs.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Benefits
  • Hybrid workplace: three days remote per week.
  • Office breakfasts, quarterly lunches and virtual social events.
  • Employee‑led groups including a DEI committee, Women and Allies and Pride Event Group.
  • Medical Aid Scheme.
  • Competitive personal pension plan.
  • Parental leave to support new arrivals.
  • 25 days annual leave, public holidays and 16 hours of Flex Time Off.
  • Tuition reimbursement schemes.
  • Flexibility to work from anywhere for two weeks a year.
