What You’ll Do

Lenovo has developed and is partnering with best-of-breed solutions providers in the market to create unrivaled hardware and software solutions for today’s data center. By combining the industry-leading reliability of Lenovo enterprise systems with market leaders, Lenovo brings greater efficiency and agility to data centers worldwide.

The Lenovo Sales Team is a group of sellers with diverse expertise across data center technologies and solutions. This capability is leveraged broadly to drive growth across complex sales opportunities. To compete effectively for the next generation data center, strong consultative sales expertise is required across technologies including:

  • Storage Solutions
  • Networking Solutions
  • Software Defined Storage
  • Converged Solutions
  • Hyperconverged Solutions
  • Edge Solutions and Cloud & IaaS offerings
  • In this role, you will lead the success of Lenovo in selling solutions through a consultative, value-driven approach. You will be responsible for developing and executing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota with customers and business partners. Strong consultative selling, technology expertise, presentation, and communication skills are essential.

    You will work closely with Lenovo’s partner ecosystem and customers within your designated territory to drive solution adoption and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven success in acquiring and developing new enterprise/corporate accounts
  • Experience responding to complex bids
  • A deep understanding of the IT marketplace and ability to articulate market dynamics and the value of advanced data center and edge technologies, including as-a-service consumption models
  • Experience operating as a self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Ability to position end-to-end solutions and clearly articulate Lenovo’s portfolio and strategy to senior executives
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with peers, management, partners, and customers using a win-win approach
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and profit objectives for Lenovo’s ISG/data center solutions business
  • Demonstrate business transformation mindset and solution-selling expertise
  • Establish executive relevance and position complex solutions with senior IT and CxO stakeholders
  • Influence customer and partner strategy and direction
  • Maintain a clear understanding of data center market trends and competitive pressures
  • Understand and articulate Lenovo’s vision, strategy and architectural approach
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams and partners to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales leadership and key stakeholders
  • Work with channel partners to develop and execute ISG sales plans
  • Expand partner coverage across key segments
