A market leader in its field is undergoing a large technical transformation and expansion and is looking to increase its IT/Cyber security presence by employing an Information Security Manager/Engineer to upgrade, implement, and enhance key systems throughout the business. This role is hands‑on, managing the environment rather than a team, reporting to the Head of I&O and working closely with senior management.

• Knowledge of Information Security management, including implementing IS best practices
• Understanding of ISO 27001 standards and their practical application
• Understanding of tools and technologies available to protect and monitor IS
• Knowledge of data protection, GDPR, information governance policies and good practice
• Involvement in development and management of information security metrics
• Implementation of ISO 27001 security standards
• Delivery of information security training and awareness

Flexibility to work from home; office visits once or twice a month in the East Midlands. Salary up to £70,000 with flexibility for the right candidate, plus a benefits package including time for personal development.
