Senior Platform Engineer – Pront

Full-Time Position – Zurich.

With our expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, multi-cloud, and AI, we help businesses successfully navigate their digital transformation.

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud environments on GCP and AWS.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Deployment Manager.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment processes.
• Design and implement cloud security including IAM, Identity‑Aware Proxy (IAP), and firewall rules.
• Provision and manage networking, compute, storage, and database services in the cloud.
• Improve reliability and performance through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build custom cloud solutions.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering (GCP, AWS, or hybrid environments).
• Solid knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, compute, and storage services.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and experience working in consulting environments.
• Strong team spirit and excellent implementation skills in projects.
• High social competence and enjoyment of working in diverse teams.
• Strong willingness for personal and professional development.
• Completed studies (e.g., in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics).
• Broad technological understanding and analytical approach.
• Professional attitude and fluent German and English skills.

• GCP or AWS certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
• Experience with server‑less architectures (e.g., Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Familiarity with Fin Ops and cloud cost optimization practices.
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
