YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, the incumbent provides technical support for workstations and meeting rooms (Microsoft Teams Rooms), while coordinating the group’s activities across multiple locations (Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver). This person ensures a simple, efficient, and seamless user experience, while contributing to the evolution of digital productivity tools and practices.
Technical Support – Workstations and Users
- Provide technical support by ensuring prompt and effective assistance to users.
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of workstations to ensure a seamless and standardized user experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support quality and services.
Teams Room and Equipment Support
- Maintain equipment (Crestron, audio/video) at an optimal level.
- Schedule technical interventions while minimizing the impact on users.
Coordination of Activities and Resources
- Actively participate in operations while maintaining a holistic view of the department.
- Ensure the quality of service and user satisfaction.
- Maintain clear communication between suppliers and internal teams.
Technology Monitoring and Productivity (M365)
- Monitor technological developments related to Microsoft 365 productivity tools (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, PowerPoint, etc.).
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure an optimal user experience by minimizing disruptions.
- Actively participate in support activities (hands‑on role).
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- DEC or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or any other related discipline or combination of equivalent and relevant experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a multi‑site environment (a plus).
- Excellent mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, at the CBC level.
