Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year

• Strong experience working within an enterprise IT infrastructure environment.
• Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Federation Services, Exchange and Microsoft Server technologies.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Entra  wider Microsoft Cloud services.
• Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Experience managing network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls and TCP/IP.
• Experience with backup and replication technologies, ideally Veeam.
• Understanding of security technologies including MFA, antivirus, SIEM platforms and Network Access Control.

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions across servers, cloud platforms, networks and related technologies.
• Support the ongoing development of a secure and adaptable infrastructure environment across multiple locations.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft-based technologies including Active Directory, Federation Services, Exchange and Windows Server environments.
• Support Azure and Microsoft Cloud services, including Entra  associated technologies.
• Assist with infrastructure lifecycle planning, upgrades and future technology improvements.
• Support the design, testing and maintenance of Disaster Recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Manage backup and replication solutions, including Veeam Backup and Replication.
• Support network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, TCP/IP and connectivity solutions.
• Work closely with Information Security teams to maintain a security‑first approach across infrastructure architecture.
• Support monitoring, incident resolution and root cause analysis for infrastructure and security‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all changes are recorded through ITSM processes.
