SAP Technical Specialist Developer - German Speaking

Our Canada based client has a fantastic opportunity for an SAP Technical Specialist Developer for their expansion into Europe!

They are seeking a versatile SAP Technical Specialist/Developer who can take ownership of product implementations, support solution customization within the SAP framework, automate business processes, get involved with product development and deliver compelling, technically sound sales demos. This is a highly collaborative and customer-facing role that combines deep SAP technical skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You are an SAP Developer at heart!

Duration: Initial 6 months, with extension for long term opportunity
Location: This is a remote work from home role for someone located and working in Central European Time zone.

Role: SAP Technical Specialist/Developer
Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical aspects of product implementation for customers using SAP S/4

HANA and/or Success Factors.

Customize and configure SAP systems to support integration with our document archiving solution.

Work with product development to provide feature and design inputs as well as help with actual feature development.

Work closely with customers, project managers, and internal developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver successful deployments.

Act as the technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle, delivering tailored and impactful demos to prospective clients.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.

Provide feedback to the product and development teams to improve functionality and user experience.

Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, demo scripts, and implementation playbooks.

Qualifications:

3–7 years of experience in SAP technical roles (ABAP, ABAP Cloud, Workflow, BTP, Success Factors or other related areas).

Hands-on experience with SAP Archive Link, SAP ILM, or SAP DMS integrations is a strong plus.

Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., Open Text, SharePoint, or other ECM platforms).

Experience with SAP customization, enhancements, and BADI/user exits.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Comfortable presenting to clients, both virtually and in person.

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience in SAP S/4

HANA implementations.

Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 or integration with web-based applications.

Background in pre-sales engineering or solution consulting.

Exposure to cloud-based archiving and storage platforms
