Position: Technical Operations Leader at CacheFly
Become the driving force in Cache Fly's Operations team as a Technical Operations Leader. This remote position emphasizes hands-on expertise in Linux systems, HTTP, caching, and effective problem resolution.

At Cache Fly, you will oversee the essential operations that keep our global CDN platform running smoothly. As the senior technical resource, your role will connect directly with large customers and involve leading incident responses, ensuring optimal performance, and continuously enhancing operational excellence. You will lead a dedicated team while developing your managerial skills over time, backed by technical leadership support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the senior escalation point for the Operations team

• Execute hands-on tasks in provisioning, upgrades, and support

• Manage both large-scale incidents and smaller troubleshooting efforts

• Communicate with strategic customers during critical incidents

• Author and drive post-mortem action items for process improvements

Requirements:

• Extensive Linux system administration experience

• Deep understanding of HTTP and caching mechanisms

• Strong networking knowledge, including routing and TCP/IP

• Proven troubleshooting skills in customer-facing environments

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python
