Position: Fraud Data Analyst Hybrid Role
Remitly is seeking a Data Analyst focused on fraud to enhance our financial services. Utilize your analytical expertise in a hybrid office setup to optimize fraud prevention strategies.

In this position as a Data Analyst for Fraud, you will join the Identity & Trust Analytics Team, leveraging analytical techniques to identify and mitigate fraud risks globally. With at least three years of experience in analytics, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing SQL and statistical programming to derive actionable insights.

Your role is pivotal in balancing operational efficiency with customer experience as you analyze fraud data trends and improve strategic workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become an expert on Remitly’s fraud data

• Build data models and dashboards for monitoring

• Collect and analyze data to identify fraud trends

• Collaborate to enhance KYC and compliance processes

• Design experiments to measure fraud control effectiveness

Requirements:

• 3+ years in analytics or fraud analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline

• Proficient in SQL and statistical modeling

• Strong understanding of fraud dynamics

• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
