Senior SOC Analyst

Salary: £58,600 - 58,600 per year

• Experience in SOC operations, security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, cyber defence, vulnerability management, or security operations engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the wider Microsoft security ecosystem is highly advantageous
• Suitable background may include Senior SOC Analyst, SOC Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Security Analyst, Security Operations Analyst, Incident Response Analyst, or Blue Team Analyst

• Investigate and manage security incidents end-to-end
• Monitor security events across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network environments
• Carry out threat hunting and proactive security investigations
• Query and analyse data using KQL within Microsoft Sentinel
• Work with Microsoft Defender XDR technologies
• Support vulnerability management and security posture improvements
• Perform detection engineering, alert tuning, and security tooling optimisation
• Produce technical reports and recommendations
• Support governance and compliance requirements

We are recruiting multiple Senior Cyber Security Analysts to join our brand-new, growing Security Operations team within a leading international technology and cyber security provider. This is a hybrid role based in Bristol with a 24/7 shift pattern, including home-based nights, weekends, and bank holidays, plus day shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from home. We work across a modern Microsoft security environment and support enterprise-scale environments at the forefront of modern security operations.
