Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Advisor, SAP ATR & Asset Integrity Data Systems to bridge the gap between technical Asset Integrity Data Systems and business-facing Acquire-to-Retire (ATR) data structures.
The successful candidate will act as a critical liaison, ensuring that our complex physical asset data, spanning pipelines, facilities, and geographic information systems, is accurately mapped, maintained, and governed within our enterprise SAP and specialized database environments.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Integrity & GIS Data Management
- Database Stewardship & Modeling: Oversee, architect, and maintain the integrity of specialized facility and pipeline databases, including Capstone RBMI, Mistras PCMS, and SAP PM.
- Geospatial Data Control: Administer, map, and analyze complex pipeline, GIS, and GPS datasets utilizing ESRI ArcGIS (including ArcSDE, Portal, and Server) and FME software.
- Data Standards Compliance: Apply and manage industry-standard data models such as PPDM, PODS, and APDM to ensure regional compliance and enterprise alignment.
Business Data SME (Acquire-to-Retire)
- ATR Lifecycle Alignment: Serve as the lead functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) linking technical physical asset records to financial Acquire-to-Retire (ATR/A2R) data structures.
- Requirements & Mapping: Translate operational asset integrity requirements into clean SAP data definitions, structures, and hierarchies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with finance, asset management, and IT teams to align pipeline and facility asset data with enterprise ERP transformation roadmaps.
Knowledge Transfer & Support
- Team Continuity: Assist the broader integrity and data teams with business continuity, covering critical project workloads and resource vacancies.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide structured guidance and document best practices to support long-term knowledge transfer for integrity and ATR processes.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ Years of Oil & Gas Data Management
Experience:
Deep, proven background managing complex physical asset data within the energy sector, with a track record of supporting senior-level initiatives. - Asset Integrity Software Expertise: Hands-on experience and deep technical familiarity with specialized engineering and compliance databases, specifically SAP PM
, Mistras PCMS
, and Capstone RBMI
. - GIS & Geospatial Analysis: Advanced proficiency in the ESRI suite (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, Portal) and geospatial processing tools (FME, Accumap, LIDAR, and GPS data analysis).
- Expertise in Oil & Gas Data Standards: Strong, practical understanding of major industry standards including PPDM, PODS, APDM, or IHS Well and Land Data formats.
- Interpersonal & Collaborative
Skills:
Proven ability to act as a "Business Data SME," successfully aligning technical operational groups with corporate financial structures (such as ATR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within large-scale SAP conversion or transformation environments (ECC to S/4
HANA). - Deep knowledge of Pipeline Data Management and Facility Integrity workflows.
