Regional Support Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

• Experience in a 2nd Line Support, IT Support Engineer or MSP support position
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills
• Experience supporting Microsoft Intune and Entra
• Advanced desktop, application and user troubleshooting skills
• Good networking knowledge, including switches, wireless networks and firewalls
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Confidence working independently and managing our own workload
• A full UK driving licence and access to our own vehicle
• Based in Devon and able to travel to customer sites across the region
• Microsoft Defender experience
• Azure administration experience
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
• Experience with RMM and remote support tools
• Power Shell skills
• Cyber security knowledge
• Microsoft certifications
• Previous Managed Service Provider experience

• Provide remote and onsite IT support to business customers
• Act as an escalation point for more complex technical issues
• Support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams
• Administer Microsoft Intune and Entra
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers and networking equipment
• Support Microsoft Defender and cyber security best practices
• Assist with installations, upgrades and customer projects
• Keep customers informed throughout the support process
• Research and resolve unfamiliar technical problems
• Work closely with colleagues across the wider technical team
• Produce clear technical documentation and customer updates

We are a growing Managed Service Provider delivering Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, Azure, Cyber Security, Networking and IT Support solutions to businesses across the UK. We are looking for an experienced engineer based in Devon to become our technical presence across the South West, working from home with regular customer site visits for hands‑on troubleshooting, installations, technical advice and project work.

This is a varied, customer‑facing role with genuine flexibility, exposure to modern Microsoft cloud and security technologies, ongoing training and professional development, clear progression opportunities, and a friendly, supportive and collaborative technical team. The salary is £30,000 to £35,000 DOE plus mileage.
