Take the lead in cloud engineering as a Senior Cloud Engineer, focusing on driving innovative automation solutions. A hybrid arrangement is available in Ottawa and Toronto or remote opportunities across Canada.
In your role, you will lead the Cloud Platform Engineering Team towards effective Dev Ops practices and cloud infrastructure enhancements. Your responsibilities will encompass architectural decisions, mentorship, and creating high-performing CI/CD pipelines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will ensure streamlined delivery and self-service capabilities for internal users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solve complex problems as a technical lead
• Mentor team members on industry best practices
• Develop and enhance secure cloud reference architectures
• Facilitate team discussions and Scrum activities
• Ensure cloud environments remain efficient and up to date
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science or similar
• 5 years in senior cloud roles, preferably in global contexts
• Cloud platform experience; GCP preferred
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and cloud APIs
• Strong analytical and communication skills
Lead the transformation of cloud services while enhancing operational efficiency in a collaborative atmosphere.
