Snowflake Architect | Remote

We're looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect to take ownership of an enterprise-scale data platform and shape its future technical and operational direction. This is a senior, customer-facing position supporting complex programmes across highly secure public sector environments.

You'll lead the architecture, governance and optimisation of the Snowflake estate, assessing its current maturity and defining a scalable target operating model. Alongside setting the technical direction, you'll remain close to delivery, providing hands-on support across platform configuration, Infrastructure as Code, security and automation.

• Own the design and ongoing evolution of an enterprise Snowflake platform.
• Assess the existing estate and develop its future architecture and operating model.
• Strengthen governance across RBAC, security controls, data classification and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules for Snowflake provisioning, configuration and data onboarding.
• Improve monitoring, observability, workload management and platform cost control.
• Establish consistent engineering, deployment and support standards across the platform.
