Financial Service client is looking for a stand alone lead Azure Cloud Platform Engineer with excellent knowledge of Terrafrom and a previous background in Infrastructure. This is a senior hands-on Cloud engineering role where you will be responsible for the design, build, automation and continuous improvement of Azure cloud platform services in a regulated FSA environment. To be considered you must have worked in a similar senior Azure cloud role in a regulated environment (ideally FSA regulated) and must have strong Terrafrom skills.

The role combines practical Azure engineering delivery with technical leadership, architectural design input, engineering mentoring and platform enablement. The successful candidate will lead by example, working directly on Azure platform services, Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, cloud networking, security controls, monitoring, resilience and operational supportability. You will be comfortable supporting Azure releases (Cosmos, container apps, etc) , working on a variety of greenfield and BAU projects, supporting engineers, working at the architecture level and more.
