IT Cloud Engineer

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in Global IT, we are looking for a dedicated IT Cloud Engineer (a), 80-100%.

• Manage and maintain cloud operations in alignment with security, compliance, and company policies.
• Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Hub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation.
• Enforce cloud engineering standards through governance, peer reviews, and best practices.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Automate operational processes, including patching, backup validation, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with application owners, IT teams, and the CISO organization to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Support change management processes, including CAB participation and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and contribute to cloud governance standards, policies, and operational runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on AWS cloud engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices).
• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, or Power Shell).
• Solid knowledge of AWS security services and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) or equivalent expertise.
• Experience with Dev Ops and cloud‑native technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
• Additional advantages: AWS Dev Ops/Security certifications, AWS Bedrock, Veeva Vault or validated systems, NIS2 knowledge skills.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
