Solutions Engineer Remote

Grafana Labs is the company behind the open observability cloud, built on open source principles, open standards, and a global, remote-first culture. Grafana Cloud is our fully managed observability platform, designed for scale. We are a 100% remote company with 1,600+ team members across 40+ countries. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to partner with the Sales team, educate customers, and help ensure their success with Grafana Labs technology.

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Collaborate to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create enablement material.

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership; comfortable with diverse and complex assignments.
• First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to articulate Grafana’s value proposition and the technical advantages of our products.
• Passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions.
• Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
• Must be located in the UK.

  Experience with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.

• In the UK, the On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is £99,000 - £124,000. Actual compensation varies based on level, experience, and interview assessments.
• All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to align incentives with Grafana Labs’ success.
• Compensation ranges are country-specific. Recruiters will discuss your market’s defined pay range and benefits at the beginning of the process if you are applying from a location different from the listed one.
