Are you ready to kickstart your career in Information Communication Technology? As an ICT Apprentice
, you will develop essential skills and gain valuable experience while working towards a vocational qualification. This is your chance to learn and grow within a supportive team, setting the stage for your future success!
Please note: This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home. However, there will be periods where you are expected to be in the office full time to collaborate with your team and engage in hands‑on training.
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be following the Support Technician Pathway. The Support Technician role is desk based resolving system user queries and resolving faults in a helpdesk environment.
As an ICT Apprentice, your key responsibilities will include:- Receiving Requests
:
Handle initial contacts from users via phone, email, webchat, and self‑service. - Logging Interactions
:
Keep track of user contacts and interactions accurately. - Providing Support
:
Offer 1st and 2nd line support to resolve technical issues efficiently. - Escalating Issues
:
Work closely with 3rd line ICT support teams and suppliers when necessary. - Collaborating for Improvement

Team up with colleagues to enhance IT processes and user experiences.
- A good standard of general education, including GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and software applications.
- Familiarity with common IT packages, such as Microsoft Office.
