This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Product Manager, Applied AI based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to build and scale AI capabilities that transform how teams work and deliver value.

You will own the strategy, development, and adoption of AI-powered platforms, workflows, and tools across an organization.

The position combines technical product management, AI innovation, and operational enablement to improve productivity and decision-making.

You will collaborate with engineering, delivery, sales, customer experience, and business teams in a remote-first environment.

Accountabilities

The Technical Product Manager, Applied AI will be responsible for defining, scaling, and improving AI capabilities across the organization by managing AI platforms, workflows, governance, and adoption strategies.

  • Own the roadmap for AI-powered development frameworks, including agent workflows, reusable prompts, specifications, orchestration processes, and evaluation systems.
  • Expand AI-enabled workflows across professional services and operational teams by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Productize internal AI solutions by developing connector layers, AI skill libraries, templates, and onboarding experiences that enable employees to use AI effectively.
  • Build and manage AI enablement programs by creating learning resources, tracking adoption, gathering feedback, and improving AI solutions based on usage insights.
  • Evaluate AI models, tools, and vendors while optimizing costs, reducing dependency risks, and promoting scalable and flexible AI solutions.
  • Establish governance standards for AI-generated outputs, including audit trails, version control, quality standards, and approval processes.
  • Partner with technical and business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve workflows and accelerate productivity.
  • Define success metrics and continuously improve AI products based on measurable adoption, performance, and impact.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical products, strong AI expertise, and the ability to drive adoption of emerging technologies across diverse teams.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering, solutions engineering, applied AI, or related technical roles.
  • 1–2+ years of experience delivering AI, large language model (LLM), or agent-based systems into production environments or daily workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience with AI agent frameworks, tool protocols, evaluation approaches, or similar AI development technologies.
  • Ability to understand and work with technical concepts such as agent specifications, AI workflows, integrations, and automation systems.
  • Strong platform mindset with experience measuring success through adoption, efficiency improvements, and team enablement.
  • Proven ability to make complex technologies accessible and valuable for non‑technical users.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating product documentation, specifications, and enablement materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, prioritize competing initiatives, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience in regulated industries, public‑sector technology, professional services, Dev Ops, or internal developer platforms is a plus.
