Become a Senior Applied Scientist at MaintainX, leading efforts in Parts Intelligence. In this remote role, you'll optimize inventory models and enhance enterprise maintenance decision-making.

With a strong focus on developing decision models and AI-driven tools, your responsibility will span optimizing reorder points, as well as assessing stock levels and supplier catalogs. This position demands a collaborative approach with product and design teams, ensuring models reflect the actual needs of inventory managers while iteratively responding to user feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain optimization models for Parts Agent

• Implement inventory intelligence systems and processes

• Create APIs for integrating with GenAI workflows

• Collaborate to convert inventory problems into effective models

• Collect and respond to user feedback for enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software engineering or data science

• Deep understanding of optimization strategies and forecasting

• Proficient in Python service engineering

• Educational background in Operations Research or related disciplines

• Experience with GenAI tools
