We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in capital markets to lead the delivery of complex initiatives across trading risk regulatory and front-to-back transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure predictable delivery and align technology outcomes with strategic business goals in fast-paced financial environments.
Your role will involve facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives. You will act as a servant leader to drive Scrum adoption and enhance team effectiveness, while also identifying, managing, and removing impediments that impact delivery. Collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders will be key to ensuring backlog readiness, and you will be responsible for tracking and reporting Agile metrics, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader to promote Scrum adoption and enhance team effectiveness.
- Identify, manage, and eliminate impediments that affect project delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure the backlog is well-prepared.
- Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress.
- Encourage continuous improvement and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- A minimum of 9 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in a Scrum Master role.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Practical experience with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and coordinate across teams.
- Possession of Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe is preferred.
- Experience in banking and financial services is advantageous.
- Domain expertise in capital markets, including knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX.
