Position: Senior IT Security Analyst Hybrid Role
Location: Quebec City

Elevate your career as a Senior IT Security Systems Analyst with PPL EU in a hybrid environment requiring three days onsite. Utilize your expertise in cybersecurity tools to monitor vulnerabilities and secure network integrity.

In this senior role, you will leverage sophisticated security systems, taking initiative on complex security tasks with minimal supervision. Your key responsibilities include monitoring network and cybersecurity threats and managing firewall security operations. This position also involves supporting compliance with NERC CIP standards and implementing corrective measures to maintain business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing network security monitoring and threat detection

• Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues proactively

• Implement corrective actions to mitigate business impacts

• Review and analyze firewall rules for security compliance

• Collaborate on firewall configuration changes with IT teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

• Expert knowledge of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls

• Hands-on experience with firewall management and rule lifecycle

• Familiarity with SIEM, NIDS/NIPS, and endpoint protection tools

• Ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend actions
