Valnet is looking for a hands‑on IT Support Specialist to keep our people equipped, connected, and productive. You'll be the person who makes sure new hires have their equipment on day one, departing employees' equipment is recovered and accounted for, and everyone's hardware and workspace works accordingly — whether they're down the hall or working remotely.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving practical problems, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. You'll play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations that keep the company moving.
What you'll do- Manage the full lifecycle of employee equipment — provisioning, configuring, shipping, and recovering laptops and peripherals for onboarding and offboarding
- Coordinate shipping and handling logistics across locations, including packaging, tracking, and helping to maintain accurate asset records
- Keep track of remote assets, ensuring equipment issued to distributed and work‑from‑home employees is documented, monitored, and recoverable
- Provide general IT support to end users — troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Handle desk moves and workspace setups, relocating and configuring equipment correctly
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset‑tracking records across the fleet
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed
- Some experience in an IT support role, or relevant education/certifications
- Foundational troubleshooting skills across common hardware and operating systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you'll be juggling equipment and logistics simultaneously
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role (handling, lifting, and moving equipment)
- Clear communication skills and a service‑oriented attitude ability to work independently and prioritize a varied workload
- 2–3 years of experience in a Helpdesk or other IT support role
- Audiovisual knowledge, including experience setting up sound systems and AV equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with shipping and handling
- Full health insurance plan (including medical, dental, and vision).
- Daily on‑site lunches, snacks, and coffee provided.
- Competitive compensation plan and bonus structure.
