As part of its Assess & Mobilize initiatives, Cortex Génie Humain is seeking an AWS Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mandates focused on in-depth analysis, workload assessments, and cloud migration readiness. This role is centered on analysis, structuring, and recommendations, upstream from delivery phases.

Assess & environment analysis

• Conduct in-depth technical assessments of existing environments
• Analyze workloads, application dependencies, and technical constraints
• Apply recognized frameworks (for example, the 7R migration model)
• Define AWS migration strategies
• Recommend target architectures and modernization approaches
• Assess costs, risks, and operational impacts (Fin Ops)
• Technical assessment reports
• Technical recommendations
• Migration roadmaps
• Contribute to the quality and consistency of client deliverables

Collaboration & presentations

• Collaborate with Architects and Project Managers
• Participate in technical and executive presentations
• Clearly explain findings and recommendations to stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud environments
• Demonstrated experience in AWS Assess, Mobilize, and migration initiatives
• Experience in professional services or consulting environments

• Strong understanding of AWS architectures
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
• Strong knowledge of migration models and workload assessments
• Rigor, autonomy, and analytical mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual French and English required

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect
• Migration or Fin Ops certifications
