The Content Designer for our Marketing and Communications team will focus and lead on:- Managing and continuously improving the RNID website
- Designing and building digital products and services to meet both user and organisational needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the charity to deliver website content and digital solutions
As a Content Designer, you will use insight and evidence to design user-centred content and experiences for RNID’s products and services. You will use your experience in content design to proactively deliver the organisation’sobjectives, in collaboration with colleagues. You will apply content design standards and methods to make sure our solutions are based on evidenced need, highlighting opportunities for improvement across our work.

The RNID website exists to build and grow meaningful relationships between RNID, people with lived experience, and people connected to our cause so that we can drive change towards a more inclusive UK.
- Confident, purpose driven and have a knowledge or willingness to learn about deaf culture.
- Proven experience in content design or UX writing for websites or digital products.
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, researchers, subject-matter experts,productmanagersand developers.
- Experience applying content standards to your work e.g. style guides.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practice for digital content e.g. WCAG.
- Understanding and experience of user research methods and the ability to translate insights into actionable design strategy.
Professional experience in content design. No formal qualifications are needed for this role.
