As a Google Cloud Customer Engineer, Data & Analytics at Premier Cloud , you'll be the technical expert in client-facing roles, focusing on scoping, designing, and delivering data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll work with technical teams to showcase Google Cloud's benefits and help clients leverage GCP for their data needs. Your goal is to turn complex challenges into scalable, high-performance data architectures that enable insights, decision-making, and innovation.

You'll explain technical features, assist with architectural design, and resolve issues for prospective customers. Collaborating with clients, cloud architects, and sales teams, you'll deliver solutions aligned with business goals. Google Cloud enables organizations to digitally transform using advanced technology and tools for sustainable growth.

• Lead complex technical discovery and needs analysis with clients and sales teams to deeply understand and solve their unique data challenges and goals.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions on GCP, directly influencing client success and transformation.
• Develop, build, and deploy critical data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using core GCP services (Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.).
• Leverage your expertise to optimize data architectures for cost-efficiency and maximum performance.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Work with cloud architects and developers to integrate data solutions into end-to-end client applications.

• Conduct client readiness assessments to leverage Google Cloud for data analysis.
• Provide expert technical guidance and consulting support to clients throughout project life cycles.
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices, knowledge sharing, and reusable solution templates for presales use.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying data solutions on GCP.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data warehouse design, and data pipeline development.
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
• Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in data solutions.
• Professional Data Engineer or other relevant GCP certifications.
