Backcountry Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This pivotal role reports to the Information Security Manager, emphasizing the protection of AWS, GCP, and Azure components. You will define security baselines, ensure robust Dev Sec Ops  practices, and manage secure AI integrations to safeguard operations across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain security in AWS and GCP

• Secure EKS and GKE containerized workloads thoroughly

• Use Git Hub Actions to strengthen CI/CD security

• Administer Azure Entra  strict access controls

• Monitor and respond to incidents across cloud and identity layers

Requirements:

• Over 5 years in Cybersecurity or Sec Dev Ops

• Extensive experience with AWS and GCP setups

• Practical use of tools like Claude and OpenAI

• Expertise in Kubernetes and container management

• Proficient with scripting languages
