Job Description & How to Apply Below
As Senior Marketing Operations Specialist for Asia and Emerging Markets (AEM), you are the hands-on person who runs the region’s marketing technology, data, automation, and reporting.
You own the platforms, integrations, data, reporting, and AI workflows that the whole marketing team relies on.
This is the engine underneath marketing, distinct from campaign operations, who build and ship the campaigns.
It is also the more experienced analytical seat: you own the analysis and the insight, what the numbers mean and what to do, while a more junior analyst produces the routine reporting.
AboutThe Role
- Run the marketing technology stack: administer, configure, and maintain the regional marketing technology platforms and their integrations day to day, including Eloqua (or the regional marketing automation platform) and Salesforce, covering system configuration, user management, data flows, and platform migrations.
- Own the lead lifecycle and routing: build and maintain lead capture, scoring, and lifecycle management, the routing rules, and the MQL to SQL definitions and handoff into business development and sales, so leads move cleanly and fast.
- Own reporting, analysis, and insight: own the KPI and reporting framework and the data behind it, including tracking and attribution; analyse marketing and pipeline performance; and turn the numbers into clear insight and recommendations for marketing and commercial leaders, what they mean and what to do. Build and maintain reporting in Power BI and SQL, and guide the more junior analyst who produces routine reporting.
- Build AI and automation into the work: design, build, and run AI and agent workflows for repetitive operations tasks such as data hygiene, lead routing, segmentation, reporting, and localisation, turning manual effort into fast, reliable automation.
- Keep data clean and compliant: maintain data quality, enrichment and the integrity of records, and keep marketing activity compliant with data regulation across AEM markets.
- Keep marketing organised: maintain campaign taxonomy, naming, and the standard processes and templates that keep marketing consistent across markets, and support budget tracking and reporting.
- Document, train, and work with vendors: create clear documentation and run onboarding and training so marketers across the region use the tools and processes consistently, and work with external vendors and platform partners.
- Five or more years hands-on in marketing operations, marketing technology, or go-to-market operations in a B2B technology environment.
- Strong hands-on experience administering a marketing automation platform such as Eloqua or Marketo, and Salesforce, including automation, integrations, lead scoring, and lifecycle management.
- A strong data and analytics background: you query and join data with SQL, build reporting in Power BI, and turn marketing and pipeline data into clear analysis, insight, and recommendations.
- A foundation in business analytics or data science, comfortable working with larger datasets to find and explain what is happening.
- Hands-on experience building AI and automation, including agentic AI workflows, to remove repetitive work and speed up marketing operations.
- Practical command of the lead lifecycle and a sales and marketing reporting background, including lead scoring, routing, the MQL to SQL handoff, and funnel reporting.
- Experience working across a matrixed, multi-region organisation, ideally across Asia or emerging markets.
- A self-starter who spots and fixes problems before they reach the wider team, experienced enough to set the reporting standard and guide a more junior analyst, and a clear communicator who can explain technical work to non-technical colleagues.
