Position: Cohere Remote Data Annotation Specialist
Cohere is seeking a Remote Data Annotation Specialist to enhance AI models through detailed data evaluations and quality assurance. This role involves judgement-driven tasks that improve model performance across various data modalities.

As an Independent Contractor, you'll dedicate 16 hours weekly reviewing and annotating English-language data. Your responsibilities will include evaluating model outputs, creating datasets, and maintaining high data integrity through careful annotation. With a focus on quality, this position requires professionals who excel in analytical tasks and can adapt to evolving project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and rank model outputs for accuracy and relevance

• Create high-quality datasets and exemplars for training

• Conduct stress tests to identify model weaknesses

• Maintain consistency through calibration and agreement checks

• Report trends in model performance and provide feedback

Requirements:

• 1+ years in AI data annotation or similar roles

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Comfort with ambiguity and new tasks

• Excellent command of written English

• Familiarity with data formats like JSON and Markdown
