L3 Windows System Administrator
Location:
Montréal, Quebec, Canada
Work Model:
Hybrid (Scheduled Work-From-Home Days)
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Infrastructure Support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 administration and support.
- Expertise in vulnerability remediation, patch management, and server hardening.
- Advanced troubleshooting of Windows OS and handling L3 escalations.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Services, Group Policies, and Windows Security.
- Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, virtual machine provisioning, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in P2V and V2V migrations using VMware tools.
- Knowledge of Exchange Server 2016 and Outlook troubleshooting.
- Experience managing physical and virtual server environments.
- Proficiency in performance monitoring, system health checks, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with server hardware troubleshooting and management (HP, Dell, IBM platforms).
- Familiarity with ILO, firmware upgrades, and server lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ability to support production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experience with Control-M, Connect Direct, Cross File Transfer (CFT), and Net Backup.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
